65 miles round trip, Mt Vision itself is a sustained 1300' climb, but not terribly steep.

Start in Fairfax, out to Point Reyes Station per the Bovine Bakery Run.

From Point Reyes Station, go south a short distance and just past the bridge, take a left.

.8 miles and Sir Francis Drake will bend sharply right where Bear Valley Road comes in from the left.

Continue along Sir Francis Drake for 5.6 miles (although a stop at the Busy Bee Bakery just short of Inverness is recommended, coming or going), bear left on Sir Francis Drake where Pierce Point Road goes off to the right.

About 1 mile later, up a hill and down a hill, the road to Mount Vision is a left turn, well marked.

4.3 miles to the top, with incredible views of Point Reyes and the Pacific Ocean to the west. When you reach the far end of the parking lot, at the far end the road continues on, paved, for a ways to a set of antennas, with similarly spectacular views back east over Marin.
